FAQs
What Happens If I Become Pregnant Or Have A Baby? (And Have Unused Sessions)
If your circumstances change and you conceive or have a baby during your fertility support package, any unused follow-up sessions can be adapted.
Remaining appointments may be used for pregnancy nutrition, postpartum nutrition, or weaning support, allowing your care to continue seamlessly as your needs evolve.
What Help Is Provided Between Sessions?
You’ll receive clear, practical recommendations after each session.
Minor clarifications can be shared via your client portal, so you’re not left unsure between appointments.
How Are Sessions Scheduled (i.e. If I Buy A Package, Or Independently)
Follow-up appointments are spaced flexibly and planned around your cycle, treatment timelines, and personal circumstances.
Sessions can be brought closer together or spread out as needed within the package timeframe.
Which Package Is Right For Me?
These packages are ideal if you’re looking for personalised, evidence-based support and value ongoing guidance.
If you’re only looking for a quick meal plan or one-size-fits-all advice, a single assessment may be more appropriate.
What Happens With My Package If My Plans Change?
If your fertility plans change during your package (for example, taking a break from trying or delaying treatment), sessions can be adapted to focus on foundational health, cycle support, or preparation for future fertility goals.
Do You Accept Payment Plans?
Yes! We accept payment plans for our packages but fees must be paid prior to each consultation.
How Much Do You Charge?
You can find the latest pricing and package options on my Services page. I aim to keep my pricing transparent and flexible to suit your needs.
Do You Accept Health Insurance?
Yes I do. I'm registered with BUPA and WPA insurance schemes. If you have BUPA or WPA health insurance that includes dietetic cover, you may be able to claim for sessions with me.
Please check with your policy provider and contact me before booking.
Do You Provide Meal Plans?
Our focus is on sustainable, tailored advice and small, realistic nutrition goals. We don't provide personalised meal plans as standard, as these can be restrictive and don't always support long-term change.
Generic meal plans can be included in assessments or packages. If you require a fully customised 2-week meal plan, this is available for £70.
Who Do You See For Pregnancy (Prenatal) Support?
I support women and families throughout pregnancy, from the very first trimester right through to preparing for birth and beyond.
My pregnancy nutrition consultations can be especially helpful if you are:
Experiencing pregnancy symptoms such as nausea, vomiting, heartburn, or constipation, and want strategies to feel more comfortable while still meeting nutritional needs
Managing gestational diabetes and looking for realistic food guidance that keeps blood sugars balanced and supports your baby's growth
Carrying twins or multiples and needing extra support with higher nutritional demands
Living with anaemia, low iron, vitamin D deficiency, or other nutritional deficiencies and want help to safely optimise levels for you and your baby
Navigating special diets in pregnancy (vegetarian, vegan, dairy-free, or gluten-free) and want reassurance that you and your baby are still getting everything you need
Dealing with food intolerances or non-IgE mediated allergies (like cow's milk protein allergy) that complicate pregnancy food choices
Wanting to optimise nutrition for your baby's development to give them the best possible start in the first 1,000 days
Preparing for breastfeeding and wanting to make sure your own nutrition supports milk supply and recovery post-birth
Is Your Nutrition Advice Evidence Based?
Yes. As a HCPC-registered dietitian, I work within the latest NICE guidelines and clinical research.
My advice is always science-backed, practical, and tailored to your unique needs. I am also a member of the early life nutrition alliance , BDA paediatric specialist group, ARFID sub group and maternal and fertilty group.
Can You Help My Child With Fussy Eating Or ARFID?
Yes. I'm trained in SOS Feeding Therapist and support children with extreme picky eating or ARFID (Avoidant/Restrictive Food Intake Disorder).
My approach is gentle, gradual and always child-centred, helping your child feel more confident and supported around food.
Who Do You See For Paediatric Nutrition Support?
I work with families who want support with their child's nutrition, feeding, and growth.
This includes:
Breastfeeding and infant feeding: supporting parents with maternal diet, feeding choices, and ensuring babies get the nutrition they need from the very start
Toddlers and young children (from weaning onwards): building balanced meals, managing portion sizes, and creating calm mealtime routines
Fussy or selective eating: whether your child eats only a small range of foods, refuses whole food groups, or mealtimes feel like a battle
Concerns about growth, weight, or nutrient intake: including children who may be underweight, have low appetite, or are missing out on key nutrients like iron or calcium
Non-IgE mediated food allergies: such as cow's milk protein allergy or other delayed food reactions, ensuring safe and balanced nutrition
Food intolerances: helping families manage symptoms while keeping diets nutritionally adequate
Gut and bowel issues: including constipation, diarrhoea, or digestive discomfort, with practical strategies to support regularity and comfort
Special dietary needs: such as vegetarian, vegan, or dairy-free diets, making sure your child's diet is complete and balanced
Feeding anxieties: if you're worried your child isn't getting enough, or you feel stuck in unhelpful feeding patterns
Enteral feeding: children who require tube feeding, including support with adequacy, tolerance, and moving towards oral feeding where appropriate
School-aged children: who may be struggling with variety, eating enough, or managing busy family routines
Adolescents: navigating busy lifestyles, body image concerns, sports nutrition, or restrictive diets, while supporting healthy growth and development
What Age Children Do You Work With As A Paediatric Dietitian?
I work with individuals and families across the early life journey; from preconception and fertility to pregnancy, infant feeding, childhood nutrition, and support for teens (up to age 18).
Do You Work With Children With Additional Needs?
Yes; I support children with a range of medical and developmental needs, including autism, sensory processing challenges, and feeding disorders related to neurodiversity.
All support is adapted to meet your child where they are.
Who Is A Fertility Nutrition Assessment Suitable For?

Are experiencing endometriosis or adenomyosis - Have been diagnosed with unexplained infertility

How Long Are The Appointments?
Your initial appointment will usually last around 60 minutes, with follow-up sessions typically around 30 minutes, depending on your needs.
During our first appointment (either face-to-face or online), I'll gather all the information I need about you and your goals. After this, I take the time to carefully develop your personalised nutrition plan.
Do I Need A GP Referral To Book An Appointment?
No, you don't need a referral. You can book directly for private 1:1 nutrition support - whether it's for yourself, your child, or your family.
Appointments are available face to face in Lincoln or online across the UK, via telehealth.

Your initial consultation will include a thorough nutritional assessment. We'll review your medical history, recent blood test results (if provided), medications, and current eating patterns.

If rescheduled in time, we'll do our best to rebook you but we can't always guarantee immediate availability. In some cases, we may add a follow-up session to the end of your package.
What If I Don't Know Which Package I Need?
That's absolutely fine, you don't need to have it all figured out before we start. We will start by booking a single initial assessment.
During this session, I'll take a full dietary and lifestyle history, understand your goals, and advise whether further follow-up appointments would be helpful for you.
I will explain our packages to you. If you decide that a package is the best fit, we will discuss the most suitable, cost effective choices for you.
If you're still not sure what you need, you can also book a free clarity call. This is a short, no-obligation chat where we can talk through your options and decide which pathway feels right for you.
Can I Choose When To Use Sessions In A Support Package?
Yes - sessions within a package can be scheduled at intervals that suit you. We can plan these at your first appointment or book flexibly as needed. All sessions must be used within 6-12 months of purchase, depending on the package.
Why Do You Offer Nutrition Packages Instead Of Single Sessions?
A single consultation can be a great starting point, but most people benefit from regular follow-ups, nutritional counselling, and continuous guidance to achieve meaningful and sustainable results.
Whether you're working on fertility nutrition, pregnancy wellbeing, or your child's feeding and growth, packages allow me to support you through every stage; helping you feel confident, reassured, and cared for along the way. Nutrition is rarely a 'quick fix.
Your needs can change across the first 1,000 days of life - from conception to pregnancy and early childhood - and consistent support ensures your plan grows with you.
Packages allow me to:
Provide continuity and accountability, so you stay on track as your goals evolve.
Adjust your nutrition plan and strategies as things change, whether that's IVF preparation, pregnancy symptoms, or fussy eating challenges.
Offer ongoing message support between sessions for reassurance and quick answers when you need them.
Deliver a joined-up, family-focused approach that connects fertility, pregnancy, and children's nutrition - all under one trusted service.
Packages also provide better value than booking single sessions, with flexible scheduling and payment plans available to make professional dietetic care more accessible.
As an HCPC-registered fertility, pregnancy, and paediatric dietitian based in Lincolnshire and online, I've found that clients achieve the best outcomes when we work together over time. Packages give you the space, encouragement, and accountability to make confident, lasting changes - whether that's improving fertility, nourishing your pregnancy, or supporting your child's feeding journey.
Can You Provide Reports Or Letters For Schools, GPs Or Consultants?
Yes I can provide a written report after your initial nutrition assessment or liaise with other healthcare professionals involved in your or your child's care (with consent).
This can be helpful for allergy management, feeding plans, or monitoring growth.
What Is The Client Portal And How Do I Use It?
After booking your appointment, you'll receive an email from Practice Better with a link to activate your account.
The client portal gives you access to appointment details, forms, telehealth sessions, messaging, and all resources or follow-up correspondence. Clinic letters and supplement plans are sent via the portal within one week of your appointment.
How Do I Record My Food Intake Or My Child's Food Intake?
You'll receive a link to MyFood24, a dietary analysis platform. Please use it to record your intake as accurately as possible. This helps us perform a detailed nutritional analysis as part of your assessment.
