ARFID (Avoidant/Restrictive Food Intake Disorder)
Practical, compassionate nutrition support for children and families, tailored to real life.
Whether you're navigating growth concerns, feeding challenges, allergies or special dietary needs, Nourish and Grow offers professional, down-to-earth guidance that meets your child where they are.
No pressure. No perfection. Just support that helps you feel more confident, and makes mealtimes feel a little lighter.

Nutritional Deficiencies
I work with families to identify potential nutrient gaps and provide practical, tailored advice. I provide guidance to help prevent and treat deficiencies like iron deficiency anaemia, vitamin D, and others. Whether your child has a restricted diet, a medical condition, or you're simply unsure if they’re getting enough; I offer evidence-based support to help you feel confident they’re meeting their needs.

Growth Concerns
Growth Concerns , including faltering growth and obesity. I provide comprehensive nutritional assessments to evaluate your child's growth history and nutritional status. Whether your child is growing more slowly than expected or experiencing rapid weight gain, together, we’ll take a balanced, child-centred approach to nutrition that supports healthy growth without guilt or pressure.

Complementary Feeding & Weaning Advice
Evidence-based support for starting solids and progressing textures, including baby-led or traditional weaning, milk-free weaning, and support where there are concerns about feeding or growth.

Highly Selective Diets
Including avoidant and restrictive eating patterns. Having a child who won't eat can be incredibly stressful and frightening. Too often, families hear, "They'll eat when they're hungry", "eating is easy and instinctive", or even that their child's problems are behavioural and due to parenting. At Nourish and Grow, we understand that this is not true. Feeding is a learned skill, and for some children, it is not easy. We use food as our tool and work closely with you and your child to assess their nutritional intake , adequacy, and growth. We provide guidance on appropriate food swaps or supplements and we evaluate their feeding skills and sensory sensitivities, using the SOS approach.

Food Allergies & Intollerences
Including infants and breast fed babies) e.g. cows milk (CMPA).
Symptom Management
When a baby or child is experiencing discomfort related to a suspected food allergy or intolerance, it can be distressing and uncertain for families.
I support the identification and management of non-IgE food allergies and intolerances, focusing on symptom reduction while safeguarding nutritional adequacy.
This may include reviewing dietary exclusions, advising on suitable formulas, and making practical adjustments to support your child’s comfort, growth and development.
Feeding and Weaning Support
Weaning and feeding can feel particularly challenging when food allergies or intolerances are suspected.
I provide clear, evidence-based guidance to support safe introduction of foods, appropriate exclusions where needed, and a nutritionally balanced diet. The aim is to ensure your baby continues to receive the nutrients required for healthy growth and development.
Safe Reintroduction
Reintroducing foods following a suspected non-IgE allergy or intolerance requires a cautious and structured approach.
I guide families through individualised, evidence-based reintroduction plans, monitoring tolerance and nutritional balance throughout the process to support confidence and safety.

Fussy Eating & Food Refusal
Specialist, pressure-free support for fussy eating and restrictive diets in toddlers, children, and teenagers. As an SOS-trained feeding therapist, I meet children where they are while supporting nutrition, growth, and food acceptance.

Supporting Family Meal Times
Guidance to help make mealtimes calmer and less stressful, even when children eat a limited range of foods. Focused on routines, reducing pressure, and supporting nutritional adequacy alongside family goals.
Working With You Towards Your Child's Healthy Diet
Paediatric nutrition looks at the whole child, not just what they eat. This includes development, sensory processing, appetite cues, anxiety, routines and the wider family environment.
There are no one-size-fits-all solutions. Support is flexible and responsive, recognising that feeding challenges often change over time and benefit from continuity rather than quick fixes.
What to Expect From Nourish And Grow
Support is always individualised, taking into account your child’s age, development, sensory profile, medical history, and family circumstances. This includes support for fussy eating, food refusal, restrictive diets, feeding anxiety, allergies, and concerns about growth.
As an SOS-trained feeding therapist, I work at your child’s pace, meeting them where they are and focusing on reducing pressure around food. Strategies are adapted and refined over time, based on your child’s responses, preferences, and progress.
Paediatric support packages are available to provide ongoing, personalised guidance through fussy eating, growth concerns, and allergy management, including milk-free weaning and milk reintroduction where appropriate.
Alongside your child, parents and carers are supported with mealtime structure, routines, and strategies, which are reviewed and adjusted as family needs evolve.
My Approach To Feeding Therapy
My approach to feeding therapy is grounded in the Sequential Oral Sensory (SOS) Approach to Feeding. As a certified SOS Feeding Therapist, I use structured, evidence-based strategies that are gentle, responsive and child-led.
The SOS approach focuses on building positive experiences with food through systematic desensitisation and skill development — often described as “play with a purpose.” Sessions are adapted to your child’s developmental stage, sensory profile and individual interests, while ensuring nutritional needs remain supported.
Would Your Child Benefit From SOS Feeding Therapy?
SOS feeding therapy can be beneficial for children who are struggling with eating for a range of reasons, including sensory, medical, developmental or behavioural factors.
Whether your child is just beginning to explore food or has experienced longer-term feeding difficulties, SOS strategies can support gradual, sustainable progress in a way that feels safe and manageable for the whole family.
Aims of Nourish & Grow’s SOS Feeding Therapy

The Next Steps With Nutrition For Your Child
At Nourish and Grow, paediatric nutrition support is child-led, pressure-free, and realistic for family life.
Feeding can feel stressful when children eat a limited range of foods, refuse meals or struggle with textures, appetite or routines. Progress isn’t about forcing change, it’s about creating a supportive environment where children feel safe around food.
Small, consistent changes can protect nutritional adequacy, support growth, and improve family wellbeing over time.
