About Me - Kirsty Wadsworth, Registered Dietitian

Education

After graduating as a Dietitian from Leeds Beckett University in 2018, I quickly developed a passion for supporting children and families struggling with fussy eating, allergies, and paediatric feeding disorders.

Witnessing first-hand the worry of parents lying awake at night because their child wouldn’t eat propelled my dedication to specialise further, becoming a qualified SOS Feeding Therapist.

Personal

My career took an unexpected turn following my own lengthy and emotional fertility journey. I experienced the heartbreak of miscarriage and failed IVF attempts, and I know the pain of desperately wanting a family.

During this time, I turned to fertility nutrition to support my IVF success and was blown away by the evidence showing how optimal nutrition can improve egg health, sperm health, and fertility outcomes, even in conditions such as PCOS and endometriosis.

This experience deepened my passion and led me to recognise the profound connection between fertility, pregnancy, and children’s nutrition. Research shows that the first 1,000 days of life — from pre-conception through pregnancy and into toddlerhood — play a crucial role in shaping lifelong health.

My Mission

My mission is simple: to provide evidence-based, compassionate dietitian support so families feel confident, reassured, and empowered to give their children the very best start in life.

It was from this belief that Nourish & Grow, my early-life nutrition business, was born and today, I specialise in helping families at every stage of this journey:

  • Fertility nutrition support for natural conception

  • IVF

  • Reproductive health.

  • Pregnancy nutrition advice to support maternal wellbeing and positive outcomes.

  • Paediatric nutrition support for fussy eating, feeding difficulties, allergies, and gut health.
