Hello, I'm Kirsty!
I offer local , evidence based nutrition advice
Why I Do What I Do
I care deeply about supporting families through the first 1,000 days – from conception through pregnancy and into early childhood – because I know just how precious, emotional and sometimes overwhelming this journey can be.

Nutrition isn’t just about food on a plate. It shapes fertility, pregnancy outcomes, a child’s growth and even their relationship with food for years to come. The advice families receive in this window has a lasting impact on health and wellbeing, and yet so many people are left confused, anxious, or stuck between conflicting messages.

That’s why I created Nourish & Grow. I want you to feel clear, reassured and confident. I don’t believe in quick fixes or judgement. My approach is about adding in nourishing foods, creating balance, and making changes that feel supportive and realistic.

As a Registered Dietitian, with years of training and NHS experience, I specialise in fertility, pregnancy and children’s nutrition – because families deserve evidence-based guidance they can trust. My goal is simple: to help you feel supported, empowered and ready to give yourself and your family the best possible start.

My Story
After graduating from Leeds Beckett University in 2018, I quickly developed a passion for supporting children and families struggling with fussy eating, allergies, and paediatric feeding disorders. Witnessing first-hand the worry of parents lying awake at night because their child wouldn’t eat propelled my dedication to specialise further, becoming a qualified SOS Feeding Therapist.

My career took an unexpected turn following my own lengthy and emotional fertility journey. I experienced the heartbreak of miscarriage and failed IVF attempts, and I know the pain of desperately wanting a family. During this time, I turned to fertility nutrition to support my IVF success and was blown away by the evidence showing how optimal nutrition can improve egg health, sperm health, and fertility outcomes, even in conditions such as PCOS and endometriosis.

This experience deepened my passion and led me to recognise the profound connection between fertility, pregnancy, and children’s nutrition. Research shows that the first 1,000 days of life — from conception through pregnancy and into toddlerhood — play a crucial role in shaping lifelong health.

It was from this belief that Nourish & Grow, my early-life nutrition business, was born. Today, I specialise in helping families at every stage of this journey:
-
Fertility nutrition support for natural conception, IVF, and reproductive health.
-
Pregnancy nutrition advice to support maternal wellbeing and positive outcomes.
-
Paediatric nutrition support for fussy eating, feeding difficulties, allergies, and gut health.
My mission is simple: to provide evidence-based, compassionate dietitian support so families feel confident, reassured, and empowered to give their children the very best start in life.
